Carlos is a founder and partner of Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego, S.C., where he specializes in Real Estate, Hospitality and Business Transactions. Carlos is admitted to practice law in Mexico and in the U.S. in the States of New York and California. He has more than twenty years of experience advising foreign and domestic investors doing business in Mexico, specializing on Real Estate, Commercial and M&A transactions, actively representing several companies in the acquisition, leasing and development of real estate properties for industrial, residential, commercial, tourism and hospitality (restaurants, hotels and services) and infrastructure projects. Carlos obtained his Law degree (JD/LL.B. equivalent) from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur (Mexico City) in 1998 and obtained an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, D.C.) in 2002 as a Fulbright Scholar. He is the Treasurer for the Mexico District Council of the Urban Land Institute.

I design experiences for the user. Every job is unique, every solution is singular. I aim to deliver fresh true custom products being sensitive to the nuances and complexity of true custom design. My analytical point of view, pragmatism and quick response to design solutions is the result of many years of training and experience in the field; as well as my teaching and researching career in Morphology at the FAUD-UNMDP (School of Architecture, Urbanism, and Design-National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina). I currently serve as a Design Director and as the Residential Regional Area Practice Leader. Based in the Gensler LATAM's San Jose offices in Costa Rica, my focus is on Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, and Urban Spaces. I count on 10 years of practice in my homeland Argentina, and 22 in the United States as a Licensed Architect. I look forward to connecting with you.
