Mentorship Program
Established in 2016 by ULI Mexico, the Mentorship Program is intended to foster an exchange of professional ideas, friendship, and expertise among young professionals and industry veterans in order to enhance the personal and professional growth of both parties.
This program matches younger professionals (Mentees) with experienced professionals (Mentors) for guidance and support, while offering Mentors an opportunity to strengthen ties with future leaders of the local real estate community and the Urban Land Institute. The program runs for a full year starting in March.
The Mentorship Program is a one-on-one program matching senior leaders (15+ years’ experience) with early career (at least 2 years full time) members of ULI. The expectation is that Mentors will meet with their Mentee for at least 1 hour a month for a full year. There are 3 or 4 group sessions per year. The first is a meeting where all Mentees have a chance to meet all Mentors before choosing their Top 3 choices. There are two sessions which are led by a leadership coach on the topics of communication styles and work styles, and a close out social is held at the end of the year.
